The new exhibition of the MAV, which opened to visitors on September 10, 2010, presents its rich and diverse collection in an exhibition circuit. The visitation is organized into thematic modules, under the title Dimensions of the Body: from Anatomy to Microscopy. Its new format is constantly updated and provides a broad overview about veterinary medicine and, more specifically, about veterinary anatomy, developed by FMVZ researchers, teachers and specialists. Explanatory labels, information panels and didactic models, associated with a diverse set of exhibition resources compose the language support of the exhibition.

The collection guided the thematic grouping of the MAV’s new exhibition, which generated the following exhibition modules:
